Harris Count Downs

Before we get to our count downs id like to mention two things...

First

WE LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! :)

So excited for the cooler weather, hot chocolate, sweaters, and spending

time with our families!! AND so ready for the craziness...

the last 3 months of the year are always soooooo busy for us. So excited

for all the hustle and bustle :D

Second

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY to my little brother Jacob!!

He is currently serving a mission in the Philippines.

(Isnt he such a stud??) :D

Okay now for the Harris count downs!!!

26 days till Thanksgiving

(gotta love a day full of yummy food and lots of time with family!)

27 days till Black Friday (Shop till we drop!)

35 days till Our CRUISE to the Bahamas!!!! (We're so stoked!!)

50 days till our 2nd Anniversary!! (Cant believe its been that long already?!)

56 days till Christmas (Our Favorite holiday!)

59 days till Jared's 26th Birthday! (I'm SO glad he was born!) :D

Then last but not least....

114 days till my brother Jacob will be home from his mission!!!

Project Overload

Since Ive been SO bad at blogging lately....this is going to be a catch up post!

Get ready for a Project and picture overload!!

Project #1 Man Wardrobe

(Jared's been really wanting a wardrobe to put all of his business clothes in.)

My mom scored an awesome deal on an old antique

wardrobe/cabinet from GoodWill many years ago.

Ive been eyeing it for the longest time!
Waiting for the day she wouldnt need it anymore...

Well that day came about a few weeks ago :D

I earned some brownie points cause I turned it into
Jared's dream work wardrobe

rather than using it in my craft room. haha!

Project #2 Coffee Table

Our 5 dollar coffee table was in NEED

of a makeover to bring it back to life and to add some

color to the living room.

I was soooooo nervous to paint it yellow, but Im sooooo

glad I did!! :) I love the color and love how it looks in my living room!

Project #3 Fabric Wall Art

I love inexpensive projects!! We've been needing

something above our sofa to make it cozy and

to bring some color to the room but didnt want to put pictures up.

*Bad experiences with that one..

So my solution to the problem was......*drum roll*

THIS

We love it!! It brings so much color to the room and was so inexpensive

and easy to do!

Here is how we made them

Start with some fun fabrics

(I got these fabric squares from the fabric store for about a buck)

Then pick out your looms!

You can get these at any craft store and range

from about $0.99 -$3.99 depending on the size you choose

Next paint them whatever color you want!
Or you dont have to paint them, i think the oak color can
be just as cool!

(sorry I dont have pictures for the next step :( )

Once they are dry, take out the middle circle (there are two per loom)

place the fabric on top of the middle loom

then place the outside loom over that

(the fabric should be in between both looms)

Then tighten the fabric by pulling from

the back then cut off the excess fabric

AND tada! You got awesome wall art!

I think they look so awesome in

a living room, dinning room, and nurseries. And the best part is

if they fall they are soooooo light they wont hurt you or a little one :)

Project #4 Bedroom Nightstands

We've had our nightstands for almost a year...and finally got around to repainting them!

I got them at a garage sale for 20 bucks, such a steal! :)

It went from white and gold to white and aqua.

A much needed change I think :)

Chairs=DONE!!!

FINALLY!

Our dinning room chairs are finished :D

We've had these chairs for a year.....I know pathetic...

But anyways at least they are done now!

I wish I had taken before pictures :(

But these Chairs were in HORRIBLE condition and the seats were gross...

But now they are pretty again!!! :)
(here are 4 of the 7 chairs)

We sanded, painted, and recovered all 7 chairs together and with some help from my mom.

It was a long process but we LOVE the out come :)

Arent they beautiful??? :)

Next we are repainting a "Man Wardrobe" for Jared, our nightstands in our room, and

our coffee table! Stay tuned :)

Craigslist find!

Craigslist and I have a Love/Hate relationship...sometimes I just adore it and

find a bazillion amazing deals and other times I dont....

BUT this time I found something!!! *Drum roll*

An entry table!!! :D

Ive been on the search for one for months! I found others that I LOVED but didnt love the price...

It was all worth the wait though cause I found a beautiful one for $30!!!?!

We bought a house!!! :)

WOW we have been M.I.A for over a month :/

Life has been SUPER busy and crazy....

Here is a quick update (more to come later)

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

We are homeowners of two places now!! (crazy!)

It feels like we are living the dream because we upgraded

from 792 sq ft to 1,332 sq. ft

We have 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths now! It is amazing!!

Our house is located less than a mile from Jareds family and about 3 miles from my family

its a huge blessing that we found this house when we did!

We've spent two weeks fixing it up..

(painting, fixtures, hardware, yard work, etc.)

Its been a BLAST to be able to make a house exactly how we want it.
We are so grateful to both of our families and to our friends
who have helped us so much with the work and with the move!
Thanks again guys, couldnt have done it with out you all!!

The Mystery Castle

Last Saturday we had a girls day. My mother in law (love her!) planned THE cutest activity!

She wouldn't tell us where we were going, but she gave us cute little tiara's and lollipop sabers.

When we arrived we were so excited! We had no idea that we had a cool castle in Phoenix?!

Here is a little summary about the Mystery Castle, about how it came about and why it is here. :)

A man named Boyce Luther Gulley built the castle. He came here to Arizona from Seattle, Washington. Why? Because he thought he had tuberculosis and that he was gunna die. He left his family (Wife and Daughter) because he couldn't bare to have them watch him die. It was a very sad time for him, he longed for his family, and for the memories he had with his daughter, Mary Lou. One of his fondest memories with her was when they would build sand castles on the beach. He recalled how she would cry when the tide washed up the sand castles they made. She told him one time "Please Daddy, build me a big and strong castle someday that I can live in. Maybe you ought to build it in the desert were there is no water." And that is what he did. When he migrated to Arizona he gradually regained his health and built her a stone castle. The Mystery Castle has 18 rooms, 13 fireplaces and fun nooks and crannies throughout. Boyce Luther Gulley died of cancer in 1945, (15 years after he left his family) before he could send for them to come live with him. His wife and daughter were shocked when they found out that they had an inheritance in Arizona. They had no idea what had happened to him. In the will it stated that they had to live in the castle for 2 years before they could ever sell it. So they did and continued to live in it until they both passed away. Boyce had a time capsule built into one of the rooms that he had them open after the first 2 years of living there, it had pictures of him, so his daughter could see what he looked like, and also contained the deed and some money. Mary Lou maintained the castle and conducted tours until she passed away in November of last year. The Castle is still open for tours and I would HIGHLY recommend going. It is a very cool place and something fun to do with family and friends.

Relationships

Lately, I've heard a lot about other peoples relationships.

Which has really caused me to ponder a lot about them.

Its kind of a big topic for me....

for others it can be a very touchy subject.

I'm not an expert on relationships (that is for sure) :)

I didn't date a TON of guys, I don't have a kiss list that is 10 pages long....

Actually, I can count on one hand the number of guys I dated/kissed.

But I feel like I gained my experience in different ways...

Some might know and others wont, but before I met Jared (my Prince charming)

I was in a VERY unhealthy relationship.

Its something I don't talk about....like....EVER!

Im not gunna name any names or go into too much detail on that. It was a very trying time in my life

BUT I learned so much about myself, relationships, miracles AND the power of forgiveness.

I wanted to share how when I meet Jared it was a no-brainer that I was meant to be with him.

(I am a firm believe that you can make any relationship work)

BUT I just knew with him

Jared was the polar opposite of my ex.

Jared treated me so special. He would open the door for me ALWAYS.

He gave me a hug on the first date, held my hand on the second date, and kissed me on the third date.

He opens the door for me, kisses my hand often just to see the way it makes me smile, and takes me on super fun dates.

He would CALL me on the phone rather than just text me all the time. He would always think positive and that positivity would rub off on me. He would never let me be sad or unhappy.

He would do everything he could to get me to smile.

He waited 3 months to tell me "I love you" for the first time because he wanted to say it when he was truly head over heels in love with me and because he knows how powerful those words are.

He took things slow because he wanted us to get to know each other as best as we could.

He would take me to hangout with his friends, introduce me to everyone he knew and made sure to always let me know how lucky he felt to be with me.

He would NEVER let me fight with him. He would kill any minor misunderstandings (which were always rare) before they would turn into something it shouldn't (one of my favorite qualities).

He had goals and would share them with me often. He would talk with me about my goals and ambitions and help me find ways to accomplish them.

He was always patient with me.

He has confidence, he is NEVER insecure about himself or our relationship. (This was a huge one for me because my Ex was ALWAYS insecure, it was what caused our relationship to fail.)

Now I dont want to make it sound like our relationship is perfect...because come on, noones is. BUT we are working constantly to have the best relationship possible with eachother. And heck, that is good enough for me! :) A perfect relationship would be too easy and too boring in my opinion. I remember when Jared and I were getting interviews with our stake presidents,

to prepare for getting married, the first and BEST advice they gave us was...

Always remember that you and you're spouse are human.

Far from perfection and will make mistakes AND to never think that you can change who they are and how they act in any way. You can find happy mediums but you can never fully change someone.

I think that advice has helped us so much. We are able to respect the way each other is and to not expect

the other one to change, just to work with each other to find out how we can meet in the middle and what sacrifices we can make to solve any problems we might face over time.

I love relationships. They are beautiful things. Id like to end with one more piece of advice...

remember, serving and being selfless are great foundations for a long and happy relationship no matter what kind of relationship it is! (friends, family, bf/gf, spouses, etc..)

Relay For Life 2011

Last saturday and sunday (April 16th-17th)
Jared and I participated in Relay for Life.
The event took place at my old High School, Red Mountain.

It was one of the most rewarding things we have done in awhile!!!

My dear friend (from my families ward) Mckenna Hansen

was diagnosed with cancer in the fall of 2008 at the age of 20.

She underwent six months of chemo and a month of radiation, but is now healthy.

She is a survivor!!!

We felt honored to be involved in such a great cause, to raise money for

others out there like McKenna and to help find a cure for cancer!

Stress

Stress is never fun.

I've had a crazy stressful week.

I'm SO grateful for these three things that help me stay sane....

1. This amazing guy who I know will always be by my side

(Even though I'm a mad women when I'm stressed)

I love you Babe.

2. For the Piano. Whenever Im stressed I go to the piano to tune out my anxiety

I dont know what I would do without the piano!

3. Last but not least the scriptures! These are life savers!!! Love how they

make me feel after I read them :)

SO TAKE THAT STRESS!!!

Spring Break in Sedona part one

This year for Spring Break we went to Sedona!

We LOVE Sedona!

What a gorgeous place, and only a few hours away :)

My Aunt Cassie and Uncle Scott were so kind to let us use their time share up there!

I had to split this post into two since I took way too many pictures haha :)

Here was our first day in pictures!

First stop Jerome! Such a fun place. The whole town is on a mountain. Jerome is

a old mining town. Very cool shops and places to see in Jerome :)

Next stop was Tuzigoot

Shopping at Tlaquepaque was the next stop on the list!

Very interesting and cool boutiques and shops at Tlaquepaque :)

Then we had lunch at Bling's in Cottonwood

Super good Hamburgers and fries here! We LOVED it!!!

The Birthday Girl

I get SO bored when my husband isn't home...

today was trouble...I got so bored I decided to surf the internet!?

But Im proud of myself, I fought the urge to buy something, instead I made a DREAM LIST

Our Love story began on January 25th 2009.

I received a notification on my phone while I was at a movie with friends, that a guy named Jared Harris wanted to add me as a friend on Facebook. I sat there trying SO hard to figure out how I knew him.

He didn't look familiar at all....but his name sounded familiar. But I just couldn't figure it out!

When I got home I looked him up on the computer and noticed that we had one friend in common

(I must know him then, right?!)

So I accepted his friend request and then sent him a message....

"Sorry this is soooo lame, but your name sounds sooooo familar and I've been trying so hard to remember how I know you!? And I know once you tell me im gunna really feel lame!:) haha!"

he replied....

"ha so the other day my mom told me that my grandma told her i needed to meet this girl roxanne reed so my mom was all hey see if this girl has facebook and be her friend. so i guess my grandma knows you?????? i dont know"

AH HA! Then it hit me! About two months prior my mom told me

how our visiting teacher Marae Harris (Jared's grandmother) told her that I needed to meet her grandson. I was very skeptical at first and then agreed but found out he just started dating someone, so that was that....Well so I thought! So now he was single and adding me on Facebook!

Before I could reply back to him he started to Facebook chat with me!

I was SO nervous!!! That was the beginning of our correspondence. Facebook chats

lead to texts, then evening phone calls, then him finally asking me on a date! :)

The night before our first date I was feeling SO sick because I was SO nervous!

My mom asked me what was wrong and I replied "Im scared he isn't gunna like me"

My mom laughed! She asked me why I cared so much, I hadn't even met him yet...and

that the worst thing that could happen would be we just ended up being friends. BUT I didn't want to be just friends haha! I was already falling in love with him and I hadn't even met

him!?! (weird I know...Im not a creepier I promise!)

Then the day arrived he picked me up at my apartment, he was SOOOOOO much cuter in person!! :D

Our plans were to go and play tennis but none of the courts had lights on so we couldnt...

Plan B was to go long boarding. It was my first time ever going! Talk about freaking out! haha

We didnt have any accidents, that was good! Then we went out to dinner with his friends, Melissa, Morgan and Gregg. I felt bad because I didn't talk a lot, but Im glad he understood that I was just a shy person! After dinner we went to Gregg's house to play games and watch a movie.

Jared was all cuddly, I was SO dying on the inside haha! It was awesome :) He dropped me off gave me an awesome hug and I hoped and prayed he would ask me out again!

The next day I was at work. During my lunch break he calls me. He began by accusing me of "Baiting him", I was like what?! He then explained that I had left my tennis rackets in his car. He interpreted

that as me wanting a second date hahah. Which was totally not my intention! But Im sure glad I did!!!

We went on a few lunch dates, then a date to the drive-ins were we held hands for the first time :)

THEN on our third date (which was February 13th) we were at Gregg's again hanging out with friends watching a movie. The movie ran late so it was past midnight now (which then made it February 14th...catch my drift? ;D ) Jared learned towards me and I thought he was gunna tell me something....
Well I guessed wrong he was leaning in to KISS me!!! It totally threw me off guard but I remember the butterflies it gave me :) Valentines day will always be a special day for us!

He must have felt the same butterflies because we dated for six amazing months and then he popped the question on August 4th 2009. We married four months later on December 19th 2009.

We have been LIVING THE DREAM ever since!

Im so very grateful that Jared and I found each other. I cant imagine my life without him.

He is my everything, my role model, my hero, and my better half!

Words cant express enough how happy it makes me to know

that I get to spend ETERNITY with him!

I love you so very much Jared Harris!!!!

Shares our same love of going on trips! But he is the lucky one

and works for the airlines, so he travels more than us! :)

Is currently serving a full time mission in the Philippines. He has been such a

great example to us! We love receiving his letters every week. They bring us so much joy!

We are so proud of him for serving the Lord! We cant wait for him to be back in 12 months!!!

He is so hilarious, and can make anyone smile when he is around them!

Cant believe she is 14 now! She is so gorgeous inside and out.

She is constantly cracking us up with her stories about her life and boys ;)

And we cant help but smile every time she tells us we need to hurry up

and have kids so she can have some nephews and nieces hahaha

Teddy can be so fun to be around. He has a good sense of humor and always

makes us laugh! He is a little rough around the edges sometimes, but that

keeps things interesting!

and I LOVE it! Its been so fun getting to know her more and more.

Saturday Morning Hike

We LOVE Arizona! Why? Because of all the glorious hikes!!!

On Saturday we hiked South Mountain with our sister Elle and one of her friends Dave.

Such a beautiful hike! Our goal is to try and go every weekend, so hopefully we can accomplish that!

This is one of our favorite hikes so far because of all the AMAZING views of the valley!

Love spending Saturdays with the ones we love :)

Sadly this year Jared and I didnt dress up.....(next year will be our year!)

BUT I did dress up for work. Here are some of my awesome co-workers!!!

We had a costume contest, desk decorating contest, and a pumpkin carving contest.

We spent Halloween day/night with my family and some friends. We had a yummy dutch oven dinner and dessert, thanks to our awesome friends the Hanson's :)

P.s We got callings in our ward too :)

We are now primary teachers for the 7 and 8 year olds! We are so excited!!! (well, I know I am)

We have found a new hobby!

Jared and I have found something new that we both enjoy....REFINISHING FURNITURE!

We discovered that we both LOVE old antiqued furniture :)

It all started when I found an old wingback chair on Craigslist for 15 bucks (Such a steal!). That find then lead us to inheriting a cute antique drop leaf table that my mom found for 5 bucks!

Which recently lead to me finding some antique dinning chairs on Craigslist for 5 bucks each!

So we have been super busy with our three new projects!

Im sure Jared is regretting telling me that he likes refinishing furniture just as much as I do...;)

Here is the first project we have tackled...The Table!

Here is the before. The stain was so old and rusted away

We sanded for HOURS! But we were very determined to get it done!

We then stained it a deep walnut color! Turned out PERFECT!

Total time from start to finish=5 hours

The pictures don't give it justice....but it is GORGEOUS in person! :) We love it!

Its just perfect for our little townhouse!

(ignore the chairs that are with it...those are just temporary until the new ones are done!)

Our next project we are currently tackling is the wingback chair!

Reminiscing

One year ago, Jared asked me if I would take August 4th off from work so we could spend the day together. I agreed. When that day came, he picked me up from my apartment really REALLY early in the morning (I wasnt too excited about that!). We got into his car and starting driving on the highway. I had no idea what we were doing or where we were going. Finally after 30 minutes passed I asked "Where are we going?!". His answer was "Sedona!". I remember thinking wow Sedona, thats a good 2 hours away....something must be up?! ;)

Once we got there, the first thing we did was walk the shops! It was so much fun. After an hour or two we stopped and had lunch at a pizza place. Jared asks me what should we do next, and Im clueless. All I've ever done in Sedona is shop!? I tell him I don't have any ideas, and he tells me he doesn't either. I believed him....So we decided to "drive around" and look for more shops. He fooled me for a little while, until I glanced at his GPS and saw that we were "approaching our destination"! He turned into a place that said Jeep Tours.

Ha no plans eh?! Jared had a big grin on his face as he was telling me about how he made a reservation for the two of us.

So we signed in, hopped into the Jeep (with a crazy tour guide) and were off to the mountains! It was so BEAUTIFUL and so fun to see the amazing mountains. We talked, laughed, and got all sandy/dirty. It was a great experience to share with each other. (Even though I felt so gross the whole time) haha :)

As the tour was coming to an end we approached the famous "Carousel Rock",( it has appeared in quite a few Western movies). There we were able to get out of the Jeep and climb to the top to see the view, It was breathtaking! I remember there were only a few other people up there with us, we had them take our picture and then they left...

So then it was just US! We ended up exploring a little and then found a perfect spot to see the view. There we were standing side by side marveling how beautiful everything was when Jared turns to me and says "Would you like a toothpick?". I reply "No thank you". Then before I know it, Jared is down on one knee, with a stunning ring in my face, speedily saying "Will you Marry me?!"

I was in SHOCK! The first thing that came out of my mouth was "You butt head!?" and started crying! :) Poor Jared was still kneeling there and asked "Did you say yes?". I smiled and said "Of course!"

Disneyland June 26th-July 1st 2010

This year we weren't able to go to Mexico :(....so plan B was DISNEYLAND! :)

We had a BLAST! This was by far my most favorite trip to the happiest place on earth. Why? because it was with my HUBBY! :)

We spent 5 days in Disneyland and California Adventure, We've never been that long before. It was so nice, we were able to relax, enjoy, and go on everything we wanted! (And it was a plus that our hotel was right across the street!). Pure BLISS :)

I love my hubby and I love my family, Im so grateful for the memories we are able to share together and SO excited for the ones to come!

Reed Family Reunion

Last month was our Reed family reunion up in good old Snowflake :) Its a very small town but I love it so very much! It will always have a special place in my heart. It was so fun to get together with the family that could come and see how fast everyone is growing up! Here are some pictures :)

First we went to a D-Backs game, it was way fun, except they lost....

Then we were on the road to Snowflake! I love road trips especially with my hubby!

On Saturday we played capture the flag but flag football style, SO FUN!

Jared started a tradition that we have a Sonic corn dog run every time we are in Snowflake. My cousins love the tradition! We love to hear the reactions of the workers when we ask for a huge amount of corn dogs!!! The first run started with ordering 12, then the next was 24, and this time it was 60!

Words can not even describe how excited we are that June is here!!!

June is our vacation month this year. We are just chomping at the bit to have a break from our busy lives!

To start the month off we will be attending a family Reunion on our Reed side in Snowflake. I love Snowflake, it is a town full of memories for me and my family. Im so excited that Jared gets to come to this reunion with me this year! Since we have been married we have been able to take some special trips up there. We cut down our first christmas tree there, Easter, General Conference, and Chyanne's Patriarchal blessing (given by my grandpa!). I love being married and sharing these memories with him!

Our next AMAZING trip is gunna be a week long!!! We are going to these two places....

First we are going to the Mayan Palace in Mexico with my family and some friends. This is such an amazing trip! We have so much fun every time we go. Im so excited to relax with my hubby on the beach! :) Then for the 4th of July we are going to Del Coronado for a few days with Jared's family! Im so StOkEd! Me and Jared have never stayed in that exquisite hotel. We cant wait! Both trips are going to be amazing especially since we are going with our awesome families!!! I think we are going to be Beached out by the time summer is over haha :)

Home Sweet Home

This is where we retreat after a long day of work...this is our first place!

We couldnt be more happy with all of our 792 sq ft, hehe small but perfect for the two of us. I love living here with my best friend!!! :)

Here is a tour....

Our beautiful couch that was stored in my parents garage for two months is finally in its rightful place! Such a small space, but oh so comfy, and the perfect place to wind down. Cant wait to get our wedding pictures framed to complete the wall! I love having a place to decorate!!! :)

One of my favorite areas of the house. Love that I am finally able to decorate with all my cute stuff...ive been waiting 5 months! It was torture haha.

The living room leads into the kitchen/dinning/laundary area. Its tiny, which made it very hard to fit ALL of our kitchen supplies in the limited storage space, but we were able to manage. No more than two people at a time though in this space! We dont have our table yet in the dinning area so there are no pictures of that quite yet.

The last area downstairs is the half bathroom. Very convenient for our guests so they dont have to hike the stairs!

Now on to the upstairs....

This is the master bedroom, very very tiny. Our king bed practically takes up the whole room! Which is fine with us because we dont have a ton of furniture, made decorating a breeze! I have just a few more things for Jared to put up on the wall to make it less empty. Oh and I just LOVE our bedding set, one of our purchases from our wedding gift cards! (pictures dont give it justice though...)

Next is our little bathroom. Not too much to see, but it is cute! Im so glad there are only two of us or else sharing would be a nightmare! haha :)

Then last but not least, there is our guest bedroom! Still in the process of setting up the bed, but we are loving how it is turning out! Cant wait for all our out of town friends to come and stay with us :)

We cant get enough of our place! It has been so perfect for our family of three, Deecee has loved her new home. Its nice that she has a front porch to play around on while we are gone :) The neighborhood is so quite, we have awesome neighbors, and we are so close to our families! We feel so very blessed, and couldnt ask for more! :)

We are SO anxious for summer to get here!!! Why you may ask...because our family has started a yearly tradition. We spend a long relaxing week in MEXICO :)

In 57 days we will be here....

I have an Aunt and Uncle who have a time share at the Mayan Palace and every year we get a whole bunch of family and friends to spend the week together. It is so fun! And I am so very excited to be able to bring Jared along this year! :) We cant wait to get away from our busy work schedules and enjoy the beautiful beach with our awesome family and friends!!!

We....got....a....PUPPY! :) Me and Jared are now dog owners! It didnt happen easily though...

Even since we got married I've been constantly trying to convince Jared that we needed a puppy...and for those of you who know Jared he is NOT a dog lover....

Every day he would catch me looking on Craigslist at puppies...puppies...and more puppies! And every time we would have this conversation...

"please babe they are so cute! please can I have a puppy??"

"Roxanne, they are cute until they bark, poop, and pee everywhere...its a no"

I thought I was never gunna get one. But that didn't stop me from trying to talk him into it. So...yesterday, my mom calls me at work and tells me that she saw a poster that stated that two 9 week old puppies were for sale...I told her not to tempted me but she sent me a picture message of the two...I fell in LOVE

We just ADORE her. She is the sweetest, cutest and cuddliest dog I have ever met! And the best part about it is Jared cant put her down!!! :) I know it was sneaky of me to just bring a dog home...believe me I felt really bad...but thankfully I married an amazing man who forgives me very easily and loves me very much! So now we have a cute little family, life is awesome! :)

I am in LOVE with my Husband more than any other woman has ever loved her husband! Disagree??? Let me give the proof :) hehe.

So it just so happens that my birthday is in March...(catch my drift???) :) March 21st as a matter of fact! So lets just say my husband went a little over board with the gift giving....I told him that is was the one and ONLY time I will let him get away with this....Im not the best when it comes to receiving gifts, a card is enough to make me happy.

Well, it all started when my old PC broke....which is not a good thing because once a week I work from home. So I started to use my moms laptop...it became a pain and she didn't like that very much because I was using it when she needed it and vis versa. So Jared one night came to me and said "get ready we are going to get you a computer". I tried to talk him out of it the whole way, giving excuse after excuse "we cant afford it", "I can survive without one","my birthday is next week not this week"....etc. Well he just ignored me. We drove up to the Mac store, went in, and came out with a Macbook. Poor Jared had to listen to me jabbering the whole way home about how "this was the most expensive thing i've ever bought", "I feel bad, please take it back"....hahaha. Well to make a long story short it has turned out to be a really good present, I get our moneys worth out of it! I just love it! :)

And Jared is jealous...its prettier than his hehe :)

The night before my birthday, we had a girls night! My Reed cousins went out and got the 'New Moon' movie at midnight and had a PaRtY! :) They made dinner for us and my cousin Alysson made THE cutest cake! It was so much fun, even though i dont really enjoy the movies...they are NOTHING like the books...but it was still fun :) We are all officially all for Team Jacob!!!

On my birthday we had a family birthday party, we had one of my favorite foods...My moms Tacos! :) Lets just say they are to die for!!! We were able to have both of our families with us that night it was a blast! I feel so blessed to have such great family surrounding me, I couldn't have asked for better people to be in my life. And we had some fun with the photo booth on my mac.....

Bahahaha we had some good laughs!

My family got me one of my favorite movies for my birthday Pride & Prejudice. (Its the best). My older brother Chad took me to Macayo's for lunch, it was great to catch up with him and spend time with him I loved it! :)

Then my AMAZING husband spoiled me again and got me a gift card so I can buy some new clothes!!(Its been along time since ive been shopping) He even agreed to go with me hehe. HE is seriously the greatest hubby! This by far was my best birthday EVER, I will always remember turning 21 :)

Roxanne here, I totally thought I was gunna be better at keeping this up to date....oops! Well, February has been a very bitter sweet month for us :) Our Valentines day consisted of spending the day with my younger brother Jacob! He gave his mission farewell talk that day in church and we had a little get together in his honor that night for him. He reported to the MTC on the 17th, we are all SO very proud of him and for his decision to serve the Lord! :) He has been such a great example to us. On the 18th I got free tickets from work to see Mary Poppins at Gammage, and thankfuly my sweetheart was willing to go with me! :) I love him! Its awesome when husbands are willing to step out of thier comfort zones for their wifes!!! :) On the 19th we went to "The Underground" to see Austin Gibbs and the States perform with our sister Elle, that was so much fun! And then last but not least saturday the 20th we went on a hike to the Windcaves with Elle and some of her friends and our mom Karen. I was so surprised that I (well we) made it hahaha! We turned out to be in better shape then I thought we were. Made my weekend! Then that night we got together with some of Jared's High School friends for dinner at Nando's, we both had such a blast we love getting together with them! We are so blessed to have such great friends and family in our lives :)

Jared here, this is my first ever post on a blog in my entire entire life. Thats right 2 entires. Roxanne set this up for me to start typing and the first thing she said was to please keep it appropriate. I guess I have a bad reputation for being inappropriate. Now its time for the 'Post Wedding Day Life' summary thingy. hehe :) After we got back from our SA-weet Honeymoon (San Diego and Mexico Cruise) it was time to come back to reality...haha. We are currently both working full time and saving our pennies to buy a home within (hopefully) the next few months...cross your fingers! Jared is a Realtor for Edge Realty and he just LOVES it! Im so grateful for him, he is such a hard worker :) I work for a medical billing company, Walker, Miller and Associates LLC. And I just LOVE my job too! It has been such a blessing, its flexible, such a great working environment, and the people are just awesome! :) We have been so so blessed! Well, thats about it for now...but lots of exciting adventures are soon to come! This month is gunna bring alot of changes we are so excited! :)
