Reed Family Reunion

Last month was our Reed family reunion up in good old Snowflake :) Its a very small town but I love it so very much! It will always have a special place in my heart. It was so fun to get together with the family that could come and see how fast everyone is growing up! Here are some pictures :)

First we went to a D-Backs game, it was way fun, except they lost....

Then we were on the road to Snowflake! I love road trips especially with my hubby!

On Saturday we played capture the flag but flag football style, SO FUN!

Jared started a tradition that we have a Sonic corn dog run every time we are in Snowflake. My cousins love the tradition! We love to hear the reactions of the workers when we ask for a huge amount of corn dogs!!! The first run started with ordering 12, then the next was 24, and this time it was 60!

Its JUNE!

Words can not even describe how excited we are that June is here!!!

June is our vacation month this year. We are just chomping at the bit to have a break from our busy lives!

To start the month off we will be attending a family Reunion on our Reed side in Snowflake. I love Snowflake, it is a town full of memories for me and my family. Im so excited that Jared gets to come to this reunion with me this year! Since we have been married we have been able to take some special trips up there. We cut down our first christmas tree there, Easter, General Conference, and Chyanne's Patriarchal blessing (given by my grandpa!). I love being married and sharing these memories with him!

Our next AMAZING trip is gunna be a week long!!! We are going to these two places....

First we are going to the Mayan Palace in Mexico with my family and some friends. This is such an amazing trip! We have so much fun every time we go. Im so excited to relax with my hubby on the beach! :) Then for the 4th of July we are going to Del Coronado for a few days with Jared's family! Im so StOkEd! Me and Jared have never stayed in that exquisite hotel. We cant wait! Both trips are going to be amazing especially since we are going with our awesome families!!! I think we are going to be Beached out by the time summer is over haha :)

Home Sweet Home

This is where we retreat after a long day of work...this is our first place!

We couldnt be more happy with all of our 792 sq ft, hehe small but perfect for the two of us. I love living here with my best friend!!! :)

Our beautiful couch that was stored in my parents garage for two months is finally in its rightful place! Such a small space, but oh so comfy, and the perfect place to wind down. Cant wait to get our wedding pictures framed to complete the wall! I love having a place to decorate!!! :)

One of my favorite areas of the house. Love that I am finally able to decorate with all my cute stuff...ive been waiting 5 months! It was torture haha.

The living room leads into the kitchen/dinning/laundary area. Its tiny, which made it very hard to fit ALL of our kitchen supplies in the limited storage space, but we were able to manage. No more than two people at a time though in this space! We dont have our table yet in the dinning area so there are no pictures of that quite yet. 

The last area downstairs is the half bathroom. Very convenient for our guests so they dont have to hike the stairs!

Now on to the upstairs....

This is the master bedroom, very very tiny. Our king bed practically takes up the whole room! Which is fine with us because we dont have a ton of furniture, made decorating a breeze! I have just a few more things for Jared to put up on the wall to make it less empty. Oh and I just LOVE our bedding set, one of our purchases from our wedding gift cards! (pictures dont give it justice though...)

Next is our little bathroom. Not too much to see, but it is cute! Im so glad there are only two of us or else sharing would be a nightmare! haha :)

Then last but not least, there is our guest bedroom! Still in the process of setting up the bed, but we are loving how it is turning out! Cant wait for all our out of town friends to come and stay with us :)

We cant get enough of our place! It has been so perfect for our family of three, Deecee has loved her new home. Its nice that she has a front porch to play around on while we are gone :) The neighborhood is so quite, we have awesome neighbors, and we are so close to our families! We feel so very blessed, and couldnt ask for more! :)

the count down begins!!!

We are SO anxious for summer to get here!!! Why you may ask...because our family has started a yearly tradition. We spend a long relaxing week in MEXICO :) 

In 57 days we will be here....

I have an Aunt and Uncle who have a time share at the Mayan Palace and every year we get a whole bunch of family and friends to spend the week together. It is so fun! And I am so very excited to be able to bring Jared along this year! :) We cant wait to get away from our busy work schedules and enjoy the beautiful beach with our awesome family and friends!!!

Meet DeeCee :)

We....got....a....PUPPY! :) Me and Jared are now dog owners! It didnt happen easily though...

Even since we got married I've been constantly trying to convince Jared that we needed a puppy...and for those of you who know Jared he is NOT a dog lover....

Every day he would catch me looking on Craigslist at puppies...puppies...and more puppies! And every time we would have this conversation...

 "please babe they are so cute! please can I have a puppy??" 

"Roxanne, they are cute until they bark, poop, and pee everywhere...its a no"

I thought I was never gunna get one. But that didn't stop me from trying to talk him into it. So...yesterday, my mom calls me at work and tells me that she saw a poster that stated that two 9 week old puppies were for sale...I told her not to tempted me but she sent me a picture message of the two...I fell in LOVE

This is DeeCee...

We just ADORE her. She is the sweetest, cutest and cuddliest dog I have ever met! And the best part about it is Jared cant put her down!!! :) I know it was sneaky of me to just bring a dog home...believe me I felt really bad...but thankfully I married an amazing man who forgives me very easily and loves me very much! So now we have a cute little family, life is awesome! :)

MARCH equals BLISS

I am in LOVE with my Husband more than any other woman has ever loved her husband! Disagree??? Let me give the proof :) hehe.

So it just so happens that my birthday is in March...(catch my drift???)  :) March 21st as a matter of fact! So lets just say my husband went a little over board with the gift giving....I told him that is was the one and ONLY time I will let him get away with this....Im not the best when it comes to receiving gifts, a card is enough to make me happy. 

Well, it all started when my old PC broke....which is not a good thing because once a week I work from home. So I started to use my moms laptop...it became a pain and she didn't like that very much because I was using it when she needed it and vis versa. So Jared one night came to me and said "get ready we are going to get you a computer". I tried to talk him out of it the whole way, giving excuse after excuse "we cant afford it", "I can survive without one","my birthday is next week not this week"....etc. Well he just ignored me. We drove up to the Mac store, went in, and came out with a Macbook. Poor Jared had to listen to me jabbering the whole way home about how "this was the most expensive thing i've ever bought", "I feel bad, please take it back"....hahaha. Well to make a long story short it has turned out to be a really good present, I get our moneys worth out of it! I just love it! :)

And Jared is jealous...its prettier than his hehe :)

The night before my birthday, we had a girls night! My Reed cousins went out and got the 'New Moon' movie at midnight and had a PaRtY! :) They made dinner for us and my cousin Alysson made THE cutest cake! It was so much fun, even though i dont really enjoy the movies...they are NOTHING like the books...but it was still fun :) We are all officially all for Team Jacob!!!

LOVED the cake! It was cute the Edward side was filled with red filling and the Jacob side was chocolate carmel filling! 

On my birthday we had a family birthday party, we had one of my favorite foods...My moms Tacos! :) Lets just say they are to die for!!! We were able to have both of our families with us that night it was a blast! I feel so blessed to have such great family surrounding me, I couldn't have asked for better people to be in my life. And we had some fun with the photo booth on my mac.....

Bahahaha we had some good laughs!

 My family got me one of my favorite movies for my birthday Pride & Prejudice. (Its the best). My older brother Chad took me to Macayo's for lunch, it was great to catch up with him and spend time with him I loved it! :) 

Then my AMAZING husband spoiled me again and got me a gift card so I can buy some new clothes!!(Its been along time since ive been shopping) He even agreed to go with me hehe. HE is seriously the greatest hubby! This by far was my best birthday EVER, I will always remember turning 21 :)
